Adult life! We are so busy!
Life is a constant contradiction. During our childhood we complain about going to school and obeying our parents. During our teenage years about shortage of money. We would like to be adults, to have a job, independence and responsibilities… Someone said that desires can be fulfilled and this is dangerous. Yes, very dangerous.
It’s in our early years as adults, about 30, when we feel that any past was better. We are overwhelmed by responsibilities, our job is stressing and we are all of the time in a hurry: children, liabilities, housework… Yesterday was exhausting!
How about today? Well, there is only a moment of peace: Morning Coffee.
The artist Ken O’Neill has reflected masterfully this peaceful moment in his painting. Soft colors, mystical light, serene movement to speak about this holly moment, when the busy day has not started yet.
Life is a constant contradiction and Ken O’Neill opposes this religious atmosphere with a Neo-pop style of modern items and big stains: a fast brush but very accurate, the brush of a master.
This Friday you can enjoy this painting without worries. Tomorrow is Saturday and we won’t rise early.
Congratulations for your work, Ken.

love his use of color – and of subtlety to make a statement – very vettrina-esque, i think – beautiful!
